How did you get started in the plumbing trade?

My grandfather and father had a small plumbing company back In Philadelphia when I was a kid.started working for them at about age 14 or 15 .I Instantly took right to the trade right off the bat. Is has been the only thing I ever been good at to date. I love the feeling of being able to help people with there problem. I started out replacing main sewers and working my way to being a service plumbers and rough in plumber. I became a master plumber and started my own company when my father got sick and passed away . To help take care of my family .now me and my wife and cousin run my business. And I love what I do when I started plumbing it was about helping my family.now this is my Career.

What do you like most about your work as a plumber?

What I like most is I like being able to help somebody out of a tough situation where they have no heat or can’t flush the toilet. And it just makes u kinda feel like a hero sometimes.

What advice do you have for the younger generation entering the plumbing trade? 

All I can say is take your time and stop worrying about the next call.worry about the call ur on and get it done right 100%  then move to next one.
