How did you get started in the plumbing trade?
I worked as a ditch man running pipe for an underground company whose owner took me under his wing and was also a master plumber who would take me on plumbing jobs at night and on the weekend. After the twin towers were hit the underground took a hit and I began my career as an apprentice plumbing company at 29.
What do you like most about your work as a plumber?
The satisfaction of the challenges each job bring and the relationships made on the way.
What advice do you have for the younger generation entering the plumbing trade?
Never let anyone outwork you, learn as much as possible and don't quit on your trade or yourself.
