Tim Martin: American Plumber Stories

Read his American Plumber story!

How did you get started in the plumbing trade?

My father was a plumber, and in 1983 he started his own business. After high school I began working with him and have continued working for the family business since graduation.

What do you like most about your work as a plumber?

I have always enjoyed helping others, and troubleshooting problems that others could not.

What advice do you have for the younger generation entering the plumbing trade?

Put down the phone, or gaming system and pick up some tools. Along with my full time job, I am also an plumbing instructor at a local community college, RCC, where I teach and inspire the next generation of plumbers.
