Ricky Belt: American Plumber Stories

Read his American Plumber story!

How did you get started in the plumbing trade?
I started my plumbing journey at the age of 17. I used to sweep out new construction homes for a guy at our church for some extra summer money. One day the master plumber on-site offered me a full time position that would change my entire life. We plumbed new homes from the ground up and I learned so many aspects of the trade in those first two years with him.
What do you like most about your work as a plumber?
Helping people! Every single day you get the chance to be the hero. Plumbers keep the world moving and protect the health of the nation!
What advice do you have for the younger generation entering the plumbing trade?
Do it! It’s the best decision you’ll ever make.

My dad was a plumber from SFR to Hospitals. Watched Ricky from infant to manhood and so proud of the integrity he brings into his profession. He is deserving of this spotlight!
